| All members shall observe and be dedicated to the following principles and policies: |
| To promote the concepts of free enterprise and to serve the public and the industry. |
| To
contribute to the health, safety, and welfare of the public in the installation,
maintenance, and operation of swimming pools, spa and hot tub products and service, and to comply with applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations. |
| To support the efforts to improve swimming pools, spa and hot tub service, and to encourage research and development of new materials, techniques and methods. |
| In advertising, and in other efforts to sell their products, NSPI members shall avoid statements which mislead others. |
| We of the New Zealand Master Pool Builder's Guild expect our Members to uphold the ethics of the National Spa & Pool Association (USA) |
| In
May 1995 the members of the NZMPBG unanimously voted a change of rules
which would allow the appointment of a select committee of three financial
